But I personally felt like the only reason Kat was mentioned originally was because Badger said something about tracking or something but then gave no other information, and so others just kept mentioning her. So I thought that's why Rodney was harping on her and why I didn't pay much mind to it. But what you said could be more closer to reality.

Like either he saw Kat visit Badger who died that night or he just had vibes? Like if he did see her at Badger's, why wouldn't he just say that. It makes no sense not to give that information up as town about to get lynched.

Since we have to deal with both mafia & cult now I was thinking we should lynch someone who seems scummy and could possibly be cult recruiter. Kat has to be off the list as cult recruiter at least since Rodney's ruse could've worked.

Rose does have a good point about Kat possibly being scum since that would've looked very good for Rodney if he got her lynched. I've been thinking she was town but maybe he did have other info outside of his own role.

I also think people should be very careful about claims/info now that we have confirmed cult.

hold everything. i just checked on the flavor for my role and i think something wacky is going on. i didnt think anything of it before since my action was unsuccessful night 1 and Curtis died night 2 but something odd is happening. the smoking is the flavor for my delayer role but neither Stargate or Rose were my targets.

night 1 i tried to delay Farlig but my action was unsuccessful. figured maybe he had no active ability or something. night 2 i picked Curtis and when he up and died i figured it would be best to keep that to myself since someone might get the wrong idea. night 3 i was a bit paranoid about the cult and decided to try for someone i could see as the recruiter. so i picked Jeb.

now confirmed town Rose is saying my ability and flavor targeted her nights 1 and 3 and Stargate is saying it targeted him night 2? this makes no sense at all. maybe there are 2 people with my exact role? kind of fits with the theme and the multiverse stuff. Jeb did you get delayed last night or is this even more complicated?

I said this happened to me in my second post yesterday, Jed. Cigarette emoji and all. I only realized I couldn't change my action/it was pushed to the next night when I put in last night with Nav.

I had forgotten you had mentioned being blocked last night, but you and Rose revealing the same vote-delay mechanic at the same time was the more striking detail. I was initially thinking that it meant you were on the same team, because you were targeted by the same person, but I realize that's not necessarily the case.

Reading through day 3. Some notes and thoughts

1. Rod really pushing on killing Kat. Pretty much rules them out as cult recruiter I think, but could easily have been targeted just because other people had raised suspicions on them before
2. A few people really push back on Rod and pick apart his logic. Brian, Farlig, Jamie, Stargate is who I noted. Im317 expressed some support but, not as engaged
3. Lamps said they were sus on Im/Kat/Shadow/Brian, but unclear if they had any info.
4. I'm also noticing Farlig was the one that explicitly called out Lamps as town (day 2)
5. Steph/Curt both wanted to lynch Farlig round 2
6. Jamie was the only one to unlynch Reaper round 2

Unfortunately, hard to draw a lot of conclusions. The day 2 steph/lamps kevin argument seems pretty moot now that they are both confirmed town. Pretty much anybody non-cult would have been fine with Rodney dying.

Other things are fine. Interesting to see what confirmed towns chose to share / were thinking, but none of them were pushing super hard as far as I can tell

im317, if your action was unsuccessful N1, then why would Rose experience your action that night? Rose has no reason to lie. Someone with your role would have reason to lie with it targeting Rose twice. But there's really no reason for you to come out and claim this role if you are scum either so idk.

Doesn't sound like Jed was smoked/roleblocked/knew the mechanics when he was talking about what happened to Rose and I, which points to your role being a bastard one that targets random people. But if that was the case, is it really likely that it targeted Rose N1 and again N3? Doubtful. It's more likely it was redirected. But for that to be the case mafia would have had to have an ability to glean your role at night and be able to use their redirect on you back to back? Otherwise why would they when Rose didn't mention anything happening to her after that first night? It's all very confusing.
