" More Than Machines " by Bush - oldie, but a goodie. |
While Bush has been around for a great while, this song only came out this past summer, so it wouldn't be an oldie...lol |
Lol, it was Bush so I just assumed it came out in the 90s. I enjoyed the song, though.

Pink Pony Club - This starts out really good. The end is kind of meh though.
Coming Home - Have had this one on repeat for weeks.
More Than Machines - Excellent song as well.
Cloud Nine - It is ok. Not something I would choose to listen to, but not bad either.
Hold Me Closer - I like this one.
Creepin' - Another song that I like. Gonna be tough voting.
Hang On Sloopy - This is ok.
The Shepherds - Excellent song!
Europa - Hmm not as bad as I expected.
Sea Shanties - I particularly like Sir Vivian Dunn's work in this, but uhm nah.
Daylight - Better than expected
Maailmanloppu - Uhm ok
Out of Mind - Decent
Uhm, I will vote later I guess. Need one more listen.

" Pink Pony Club " by Chappell Roan
--No, no, no, no, and 100% no.
" Coming Home " by The Dangerous Summer
--This song is 1000% better than the previous song. Very strong contender for a vote from me, knowing the likely music that's still to come.
" More Than Machines " by Bush
--This is my pick, so I won't be voting for it. This is the first time I've listened all the way through this song. I really like it. Been a fan of Bush since Machinehead, and this keeps it going.
" Cloud Nine " by The Temptations
--Someone hit the wayback button with this one. I'm going to guess Ahoda. It's perfectly decent and a nice reminder of a time long ago. Probably a fringe candidate for a vote for me at this point.
" Hold Me Closer " by Elton John,Britney Spears
--If I have to listen to a modern remix of an Elton John song, give me Cold Heart with Dua Lipa. This is just meh. Probably works much better in a club setting than at my work desk.
" Creepin' " by Small Leaks Sink Ships
--This is an interesting song. I'm not sure if I were to listen to this one a bunch more if it would grow on me or grow to annoy me. I lean towards the former.
" Hang On Sloopy " by The McCoys
--Another step WAY back in time. Another classic. Not sure if it'll get a vote, but it's still better than most the crap you all suggest.
" The Shepherds " by Bertrands Wish
--I really liked the music in this song. The lyrics/vocals weren't my favorite of the Wikey songs, but the song was pretty good overall. I especially liked the folksy or even possibly flamenco-inspired musical interlude on the back half of the song.
" Europa " by Globus
--Hey, I get a history lesson with my song. Didn't realize I'd gone back to world history. Song sounds like it's trying way to hard to be something.
" Sea Shanties " by Kenneth Alford, Sir Vivian Dunn, Algernon H. Drummond, Edward Elgar, Eric Coates, William Boyce, Henry Russell, Gustav Holst, George Frideric Handel, Hubert Parry, Thomas Arne, arr Neville, The Central Band -- of The Royal British Legion, Captain David Cole
--First, way too many artists listed. Second, while the music is well played, there are no vocals, so it's not a song.
" Daylight " by Harry Styles
--I'm not Harry Styles' intended audience. I'm sure people really like this song, but it does absolutely nothing for me.
" Maailmanloppu " by Eleanoora Rosenholm
--As a stupid American, I have no idea which language they are using in this song. The music is interesting, but there are points where it sounds like the cadence of the lyrics doesn't match the music, and it's grating for my OCD to try to make any sense of it.
" Out of Mind " by Magic Man
--I wish this Magic Man could have made this song disappear from this playlist! Just kidding, it wasn't that bad. It wasn't that good either...
