Yeah I think they're stopping pretty much all support for the Wii. You'll still be able to use it for Netflix, youtube, etc. I think but games won't have online features anymore. I suppose they're focusing entirely on the Wii U now. | A survivor becomes a leader...

You can. When on the Wii U menu you have to go to the icon "Wii Virtual Console" and when you click it it restarts the console in a mode that emulates the Wii, and you can then play any Wii game.
