I found a super hidden cave last night and killed a double boss

Made good progress today and killed the main boss at the capital building

I leveled up my mimic to full and that dude does WORK

I bought it this weekend and put in about 5 hours. I am so bad at this game. It has mostly been my wife watching and telling me how bad I suck at it. :)

I've been exploring Caelid (red part of map) recently after skipping it for most of the game because the enemies were so tough. I'm doing this instead of progressing the story further down a path I know is the way forward because I've literally been everywhere else as far as I can tell. I've also been googling bosses that appear at night and going back to fight them since that would be really annoying to look for night bosses on my own out in the wild.

I think I am a level 120 now, maybe a couple more. My intelligence is at 80-something. Health is practically at nothing still though so I've always gotta be real cautious in fights, but it works and I enjoy it.

Beat him yesterday, used Black Knife Tiche ashes in the second phase, which destroyed him.

How’d you get those ashes. I tried and failed miserably.

I had to change from halberd and shield to two halberds, which worked great for jumping attacks on him. There's a rock next to him which he has a hard time getting onto where you can heal etc, maybe you can Kamehameha him from there.

It took me over an hour to kill him though, one of the hardest enemies I've faced since his blood ground pound killed me almost every time even with good hp and armor, and is almost impossible to dodge

Not sure I’ll ever beat him tbh.

I think I’ll come back way later. My Intelligence is now at 99 so I should probably get my health up next
