En by Þeyr [Iceland]
-ugh. I'm going to hate this entire series of playlists. This sounds like terrible 80s garage band trash. Best part is that it's not in English so I can't understand the piss poor lyrics. |
|
Ef ég gæti gefið
Þér gimsteina og gull
Fullt af eðalvínum
En ekki þetta sull
Sem verður annars ágætt
Ef þú smakkar það
Í flottu freyðivíni
Við færum tvö í bað
En þetta bjargast bráðum
Því brátt ég sver ég skal
Verða mér út um vinnu
Við það að skera hval
Já kaupið þar er brjálað
Þeir þéna djöfull flott
Með milljón eftir viku
Og hafa það mjög gott
En þangað til það reddast
Það væri bjútífúl
Ef þú mundir lána
Mér fyrir einum Kool
Svo á ég miða í Sjóvá
Það gæti alltaf skeð
Ég fengi ferðavinning
Þá kæmir þú sko með
En þú
En þú

If I could give
You gemstones and gold
Lots of premium wines,
But not this piss
Which otherwise becomes decent
If you taste it.
In a nice sparkling wine
We two would bathe in.
But this will soon be fine
Because soon I swear I will
Get myself a job
Cutting whales
Yes the pay there is crazy
They make boatloads,
Have a million after a week
And have it very nice.
But until it gets fixed
It would be beautiful
If you could loan
Me to buy one Kool (pack of cigarettes).
So I have a ticket in Sjóvá (Lottery)
It could always happen (that)
I'd win a trip
Then you'd, like, come with.
But you...
But you...

I got a hate message for trashing Ed Sheeran. Do I win? |
Oh wow, someone must really like Ed Sheeran. You should be extra careful and watch your back. Might be a good idea to put cameras in your room to watch you while you sleep. The person most likely won't try to hurt you, if I had to guess they would just draw a penis on your forehead with a permanent marker.

I prefer the lyrics in Tedrukkinn, where the singer is near blackout drunk in a bath rambling.
From it:

I have nothing against instruments. I love a good symphonic or orchestral number. That is some good music.
But this isn't a competition about favorite music. It's favorite song, and to me, songs have lyrics.

Crier Tout Bas by Coeur de Pirate [French-Canadian]
- - - Playlist starts out strong. I really like this song.
En by Þeyr [Iceland]
- - - Decent song. Probably not Top 6 for me though.
Habana by jizue [Japan]

Perfect Symphony by Ed Sheeran & Andrea Bocelli [U.K./Italy]

Songs I voted for in the order I listened to it:
- Perfect Symphony by Ed Sheeran & Andrea Bocelli [U.K./Italy]
- I lied I could not put this song first. I love Ed so much this song is perfect. The Italian part lowers it a little bit because it’s not Ed but still great.
- En by Þeyr [Iceland]
- this one was pretty great.
- Drive It Like You Stole It by Sing Street [Ireland]
- I remember this from the FE Movie Club. Fun song.
- Yuve Yuve Yu by The Hu [Mongolia]
- I don’t know how you find Mongolian music but this song was great. Probably my favorite song (besides Ed of course)
- Cada Paso by Muerdo [Spain]
- good song love the horn.
- Enfants de la Lune by Psy 4 De La Rime [France]
- I enjoyed this one. Good finish to the playlist. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"
