Word is James Franklin is target #1. He can recruit very well and I think he would kill it there. His problem is actually coaching and can he handle a pressure cooker like USC. Still it's a good higher for them if it's him.

I think Franklin also has family/history ties to the State College area, meaning it would have to be a pretty big incentive to get him to leave.
But really though. I am sure they'll tear up the Big 12 as usual but I don't see them as this legitimate national title contender they were billed as at the beginning of the year.

Bunch of michigan fans are talking playoffs already. Dumb fan base. They haven't even played a road game or a tough opponent yet. Wish they would just enjoy the ride while it lasts.
