YES THIS IS AWESOME. I have done some bomb ass road trips in my day but I've never pulled anything like this off
I'm more than just a *casual* fan of reviewing things and reading reviews of things so please give a STATE of the STATE: STATE REVIEW for each state you cross
So you’re saying you want reviews on where I go? Lol I’m confused

If you have an extra day or 2, I would recommend going from Memphis to New Orleans, then driving over to the beach in the Florida panhandle, and then up to Atlanta.
Birmingham is a pretty fun town, but if you haven't been to New Orleans it's a must and the beaches in that stretch of the panhandle are some of the best in the world.
Timmah is now on my crap list for detailing how Vern could totally avoid me on this trip
I thought you were up in Northern AL, so he'd be missing you anyway?
Vern, cancel that NoLa idea (which you already had) and go see TIB!

Don't stop in Little Rock, there isn't anything good to see or do here. Just keep heading right on to Memphis.
I will probably very quickly stop regardless. The capitol building isn't even cool?
Looks like all the other capital buildings, tbh.
If you are stopping into downtown (I-40 stays north), I'd recommend checking out the Little Rock Central High historic site and grabbing some food downtown in the Riverwalk area. Just beware, they are doing construction on the main bridge over the Arkansas River from downtown, so traffic is a pain in the ass for the next year or more over there.
OK. I will see how much time it adds to the trip and gauge if it's worth it.
I saw that the north side river park is closed which is annoying. You need to cross the bridge into the main part of the city to get to any sort of park. (for my dog)

I'm in Birmingham for better or worse
Rodney is a great guy. Oops, nevermind he's a terrible human being.
He likes his sandwiches to be Turkey and Swiss. Triangle cut. Let vern have his crust. Poison the part Rodney eats.
