The Absorber can then use its "absorbed" abilities on subsequent Nights (but only one ability per Night). . But that only works if it was used on you and you used the kill the next night. Unless Zersch did have some type of "steal an ability one time" action. Or you just survived the kill and mafia has a one time JOAT kill - which seems excessive tbh but idk.

Is this because of not thinking Mafia has 3 BP type roles? Because I'm only thinking of him as Mafia as a way to somewhat balance out Cultis' role.

That was a theory yeah. I could buy the BP part but the "hard to lynch" part seems pretty unbalanced and very tough for town to win if they have to keep trying to lynch him and hope they beat the odds.

No, I don't think there are two 3P roles and an SK. I was just searching for roles which could explain Primate's kill not going through and then an extra kill the next night, but they're probably not even be connected unless it was some type of modified action for mafia JOAT.

Honestly the way I understood it is that it was a 1 time thing and if it failed once he would be lynchable the next time.

I thought he said it was a percent chance but maybe he can clear it up.

If this is a role in play, I'm curious how it fits into all of this?

Only way is if there's Mafia Doc or Mafia JOAT happened to use a one shot protection on him on the perfect night

It's kind of hard to trust anything he said but I also don't know how it helps us even if we do believe it. Unless you're saying that proves it wasn't you that survived that kill?

Christian claims to have blocked you N1 and tried to kill you N5 and Zersch said they've tried to kill you multiple times. I would not put it past them to try to kill you just because of your role (in case you weren't lying) and then when they found out you survived a kill, they figured out you were SK. Maybe Christian thought if you were killed and flip scum it would make him look good.
