So I found my copy of Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 last night. I think I'll play it some time this week. |

I'm almost finished Alan Wake, and I'm not quite as in love with it as I first was.
|
Barry is fricking annoying, and I'm tired of carting him around. I was thrilled beyond belief when he supposedly died in the helicopter crash, and pretty pissed off when it turned out that he got away without a scratch. In fact, that whole thing pissed me off. I wanted to pimpslap Alan for getting out of the sewer pipe to go rescue them, because Sarah's a better shot than I am, and Barry had his freakin' Eye of Mordor thing, so they would have been just fine on their own. Barry might be Alan's best friend, (I know this, because Alan shouts that as validation for his retarded actions), but isn't saving Alice and the rest of the town and restoring his own sanity in the process just a TAD more important than checking on Lardball? |
Started L.A. Noire and Dead Rising today, too.
Dead Rising's save system is messed up as hell, and I think I somehow managed to restart the entire game without meaning to, which means that I have to go back and rewatch that stupid old woman get everybody else killed because she wants to save her fricking dog. Also, screw the achievements on that game. How the hell am I supposed to punch 1,000 zombies to death in a single playthrough? It takes like ten hits to kill one of them, and Frank West can't counter for beans, so the only way to do that is to waste an entire 72-hour playthough doing that and nothing else.
L.A. Noire was kind of interesting. I'm a GTA-er at heart, so it was more than a little jarring to have my partners screaming at me every time I ramped over the sidewalk or accidentally shattered a pedestrian's femurs. Plus I'm usually suspicious as hell, and I think that the game indirectly accused me of being a racist for accusing the railyard worker of rifling through Adrian Black's wallet. Well, excuse me, Rockstar, there wasn't any money in it! That's pretty suspicious in the pre-debit era, don'tcha think??
There's another game I bought recently and have been putting through its paces. I'm too ashamed to say which one it is. |

Oh my! I just got my laptop last month and I found my copy of the first one. I installed it and dedicated myself to beating as much of it as possible. Usually I get done with the first few levels but then the others require mass amounts of removing trees and limited space that it makes me angry and I stop. But I've beat the first 4 levels now and am in levels I've never played before.
Haven't had the time to pick it back up recently, but I hope to.

I got the PS2 version. It's a weird fighting system that I'm not used to and I'm not sure about the world setups yet. I'm still relatively fresh to the start of the game so I need time.
I like it. Interesting story and it will be cool to see the transition from 1 to 2. Sora went through puberty after KH1 and became a man obviously.
I don't like the whole cards thing, but I'll get used to it. I'd rather play it on PS2 on a bigger screen than a small DS screen.

I didn't really play it too much on PS2, mainly because I already played through the original version so there was no story stuff to really drive me to play and the cards system felt really awkward on the PS2. I kinda prefer handheld games only I always lose my chargers >:( | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

After playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 earlier (and failing the map but having an okay park), I am going to play Magicka! Everyone should play this game. It is fun and silly.
