Grandma is in the ER. She was sick before but she's doing a bit better now. She's gonna be here at least 24 hours though. STILL, happy Easter (:

Apparently she had a heart attack, but it would have coincided with the time that I realized something was wrong and called my dad in to help me get her to the ER, so I'm feeling a lot better about calling when I did now. So she'll be in the hospital for a few days but she's still doing a lot better

Friends dad died today. He had a stroke a few years ago so he was on borrowed time but at least Chris got a few more years with him. And his dad is now peaceful and not living in anymore pain

Sorry for your loss

Felt like this was a good place to post this, if for no other reason than the catharsis of putting it out there. I came to the hospital yesterday to have my gallbladder removed and my hiatal hernia (acid reflux) repaired, and ended up having neither surgery. Luckily, my wife ordered a CT of my chest first because I had started having chest pain. Turns out she may have saved my life because I have a huge mass in my right chest pressing on my lung and some of my heart valves. So, now I’m in the hospital while they try to figure out what it is and how we can treat it.

I want to like and dislike that post at the same time. I'm glad they found it!
