I think I'll go with lynching Paul since he was apparently protected and we have a scum doctor and at least 1 BP scum, and he couldn't have been jailed so the only possibility for him to be protected as a townie is by a town doctor, but that's much more unlikely.

Also...why is a doc saving Paul unlikely? He's a valuable town member if he's town. Someone worth saving.

i hope this will give us more info in the future. the whole samm/merc thing is sketchy, but we can only lynch 1 so this may be the best option.

Rob was the doctor and there is always a don and occasionally a bp (probably not this time since there is a doctor) so there was a doctor save that was not used on Rob or the Don and then there's the Don, Paul could be either.

It's mathematically unlikely and there are better townies than him IMO.

Ugh let me try to simplify this.

If Paul is lynched:

We find out he is the telling the truth and is town: This doesn't completely make Sam a liar but it discredits his claims a little bit. Nothing really happens to Merc other than the fact he's more believable than Sam.

We find out he lied and is scum/third party: Sam's scan on Paul makes much more sense when he claims that Paul visited Mal the night he died. Merc's claim as a tracker is less likely to be truth.

If Sam is lynched:

We find out he is telling the truth and is tracker: Paul lied about roleblocking him and is therefor very likely scummy. Mercator's claims are also less likely to be true.

We find out he is scum and made the whole thing up: Paul's roleblocking claims can attribute the fact there seemed to be no mafia kill, and Mercator is therefor the un-CC'd tracker.

If Mercator is lynched:

We find out he is actually the tracker: Sam's claims seem less likely to be true, as it's very unlikely there would be two trackers in the game. Paul's believability goes up as a result of this

We find out he lied: He tried to discredit Sam and Sam is therefor the un-CC'd tracker, making Paul a liar unless someone else claims tracker.

Those are all of the possible scenarios if we lynch one of those three.
