Only reason I see is that he wanted town cred. |
I mean, I agree that it doesn't really make sense to come forward as third party.
But as Survivor/Traitor, I can kinda see the logic. If he's a Survivor, he's going to have to claim at some point, and it's probably good to have that out in the open. If he's a traitor, maybe his story was bs and he was trying to draw the mafia to recruit him (I've seen the role work both ways). Either way, Vig could settle that issue if they choose to.
But I really can't see why a Cult Leader would do it - it greatly increases them up to being roleblocked and attacked the following evening. If he truly is a cult leader, than his recruits must be fuming right now lol. | | |
