The Mule - 2018. 8/10

Better than I expected. Clint Eastwood’s performance is terrific. The supporting cast is excellent and the true story is extraordinary. It’s not full of action but moves at a good pace.

Only 10 years later, I watched the first half of Watchmen last night. I'll watch the second half today/tonight. Rorschach sounded exactly as I'd expect he would sound. lol and Dr. Manhattan definitely did not, I don't know what I was expecting. But it's interesting so far. I knew a bit of the story from the comics, but I don't think I ever read the whole thing?

I might have read the whole thing. I can't remember if I did. lol

But I have been reading Doomsday Clock, the current series they're doing within the DC Universe. I might be mixing up the events of both.

Five Feet Apart. Never intended on seeing it but it was the only movie we could all agree on seeing.

It was very bad.

But we were the only ones in the movie which made loud heckling free game and worth it. Think this is the first time we got a theater completely to ourselves and it made seeing a shitty movie kinda fun.

Watched Polar on Netflix last night. Wasn't quite what I expected, but was overall pretty good.

Just finished watching Pitch Perfect 3 with the family. Two words: DJ Khaled.

I’ve always liked his comedy. And I’ve heard some of these stories over the last 10 years or so, so it’s cool learning he really is like this. He’s one of just a handful of celebrities I actually consider to be a good dude.

And knowing he actually came to blows with Chevy Chase, who’s a gigantic deuche in real life is icing on the cake.

You need to watch the documentary on the making of Caddyshack. It’s almost as good as this was.
