And yes i just invited myself to the party | Rodney is a great guy. Oops, nevermind he's a terrible human being.
He likes his sandwiches to be Turkey and Swiss. Triangle cut. Let vern have his crust. Poison the part Rodney eats.

Watched Swiss Army Man.
The humor was just..... a huge miss?
A joke that you didn't find funny the first time still isn't funny after 20 times apparently, I think I exhaled sharply through my nose once.

When he started killing small animals with his aircliffe rifle |
I thought I was going to like it a lot based on the trailer, but yeah.
The rest was good, liked the vocal music.

Fighting with my Family - 7/10
Wasn’t quite the movie I was expecting, but it was good. I actually saw it in a Theatre, might be a 6/10 at home. Lol.

Watched How To Train Your Dragon 3 today. It was blah, but then again I didn't see the first 2 and had no connection to any of the characters. It was a boring love story and I just didn't have any interest in that. |
I really enjoyed the first one.

Leave No Trace 2018 - 4/10
This movie has no beginning or ending. It’s all middle. I liked it a good bit, but there’s no explanation for anything. Reminded me a lot of Into The Wild. With a good beginning and ending it could be a 8 or 9 easily IMO.
Drowning Mona 2000 - 7/10
A quirky comedy with a lot of famous actors. Reminds me of A Fish Called Wanda. I like Casey Affleck, Danny Devito and Jamie Lee Curtis a lot in this. And William Fichtner is good too.

Watched a movie called 6 Balloons. It’s a quick 1h15m long movie and it’s very good. And I mean quick. It’s anout drug addiction and how it can affect a family. I give it an 8/10. Definitely recommend |

Deadpool 2 - ugh
The Handmaiden - good stuff, the first act kinda sorta gave me some Favourite vibes but then it just shifts into full Chan-wook territory after that |
the TWIST was so good/unexpected. I loved seeing the Countess' side of the whole thing. I felt dumb for not suspecting anything after she gets pissed at Sook-hee for suggesting she go through with the marriage, made so much more sense after knowing the Countess already knew about the plot |
Seven Psychopaths - rly enjoyed this, McDonagh is 3/3 for me easily. Billboards is still my fav but I'd put this right up there with In Bruges (which tonally this was much more similar too, it was like a mix between that and a Tarantino movie). I always enjoy Rockwell but he was especially fun to watch in this. And it had possibly my favorite scene from any of McDonagh's movies

I finally watched Get Out (yeah, I'm always a little culturally behind...) and would give it a 7/10. First 2/3 got a bit slow, but was somewhat clever in exploring difficult subject matter and defied a lot of horror tropes. Overall good, but not quite up to the hype. Liked the alternate ending a lot more because the real ending felt contrived.
Also starting my journey through the Marvel universe, will have a ranking once I'm done them all.

A Star is Born - 3/10
Definitely not my kinda movie. Completely predictable and quite unentertaining for the last 3/4’s. Cooper was pretty good and it was alright up until he met Lady Gaga. Which was about 10 minutes in. Lol.
I’m sure my opinion is in the minority tho, especially on this site. Lol.

The Lobster - that was...somethin. Liked the world building and the hotel scenes, but the second half kinda dragged. Still p good but def preferred The Favourite out of the Yorgos movies I've seen, I think it might've helped that he only directed and didn't write that one
Shirkers - GOOD |
That got fucking weird near the middle, like him sending the blank VHS tapes. Or filming the off-script scene with the kid while having no film in the camera. WTF?? Was disappointing not to get actual closure on WHY he did it but the air of mystery is part of what was interesting about it I guess
also the movie itself actually looked p good, such a shame it'll never see the light of day (in its full/original form) |

Nope. You know what I like Hodie.
A good story that’s not predictable and good acting.
Shouldn’t be that hard.

Took the girls to see Wonder Land on Saturday. It was blah. Not great but not horrible. Pretty forgetable tbh. |
