Brian has been lynched

As night falls over the second day of the 74th edition of the Hunger Games, let's recap where we stand. Part way through the day, we were alerted to the death of the Female Tribute from District 3, who fell at the hands of a mysterious arrow. This surprised and excited the sponsors, as they weren't expecting action so soon in the games. As the rest of the day played out, they watched with careful eyes, and joined together to decide the fate of one unfortunate tribute. Let's read the note from the sponsors:

After watching today's events, we just can't see the Female Tribute from District 1 having a real chance at winning the games this season. We would like to provide the tribute one chance to prove herself to us. If she is strong enough to survive, we will be in awe and much more likely to support her going forward.

Interesting response from the sponsors. Let's check the video feed and see if we can find the girl from District 1. Here she is, on monitor 2. Let's zoom out a little bit to have a better look. Look over here, on the left side of the screen. What is that? It look to me like a wolf-like creature, slowly stalking through the trees towards our brave tribute. She doesn't even seem to know that it's coming! Oh no! It looks like the wolf-like creature is carrying away the poor girl and all her belongings with her.

Ok, that's enough, I can't watch any more! It looks like the sponsors were correct in their initial read of the girl from District 1.

...THUNDER ...

Everyone looks skyward in amazement as the picture of Brian is shown in the sky, indicating his death and elimination from the Hunger Games.

Shortly after the cannon sounds, the remaining tributes can hear the sounds of two aerial vehicles coming in over the horizon. One of them stops to pick up brian, while the other stops directly over the tribute named Maddie. The tributes can see something being dropped in Maddie's immediate vicinity and then both vehicles fly off, out of view of the tributes. Maddie must have either impressed the sponsors or have some very wealthy fans in the audience to receive a gift this early in the games.

It is now Night 2. The deadline for actions is Monday by 8 PM CT. If you are choosing to not use an action, please let me know, so I'm not waiting on you.

Remember, you can do one of three things at night. 1) Use your characters night action; 2) Choose to visit the Cornucopia (Zones 1-7 and 9-12 are open); or 3) Do nothing.
