They had traveled for the better part of the day, headed toward the prison that they were hoping would be their safe haven.
Along the way, some of the group fell behind.
"Hey guys," someone started. "Where are Jayadamo and Wikey?"
The rest of the group stopped.
"This is probably a good enough place to rest for the night anyway," Herm suggested. "Hopefully Jay and Wikey will catch up with us."
"I'm here!" Wikey shouted, as he was catching his breath. "But Jay's not with me."
"Um, guys," a voice said. "I found Jay."
The group headed over to find Jayadamo's body, his head caved in.
"Somebody killed him."
Jayadamo has died.
