Star Trek Into Darkness
I DON'T KNOW WHY I WATCHED THIS! I didn't even really like the first one. I kinda felt the same way about this one too. It wasn't a bad time but it was so forgettable and EMPTY.

I just got back from seeing After Earth.
It was good! Lots of jumps but then again I'm a total pussy. The special effects were AMAZING. The accent that the characters carry though gets a little annoying, especially at first but I quickly forgot about it. I recommend!

Hangover 3 is out. I guess I'll watch that. I liked the 2nd part aswell, though nothing can top the 1st. For 3 they're going BACK to vegas. Could be lel. Anyone seen it? | "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."

After Earth - p lame. Jaden Smith basically has to carry the movie (along with some shit cgi), and proves not quite up to task. Will Smith is basically the best man ever, whose emotional negligence ends up being a character strength. There are some strong, haunting moments, but the core of the movie (the relationship between father and son) doesn't really fit with the actual plot.
Now You See Me - almost too dumb to watch. But it ends up being so fun that you don't really care. The cast, though nobody is trying particularly hard, is very likable and engaging, and the action scenes are impeccably directed and edited. There's also a lot of CGI that doesn't need to be there.

Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame. It's wuxia + detective story set in 690s China.
I really like it and I should get the DVD.

Pitch Perfect.
My girlfriend finally coaxed me to watching this... haha it's not bad. I like musicals, even Jukebox musical (to a lesser extent)
It had a pretty flimsy plot but I wasn't expecting much and the mixing of songs was pretty cool I guess.
I also watched Moulin Rouge! Which is also a jukebox musical but pretty hilarious.
I enjoyed that one a bit more.

Into Darkness, like the first movie, was dumb but entertaining
After Earth was completely retarded. I felt bad for Jaden Smith, it felt like he was pushed into this shitty movie. He can't act.

Prometheus. I hadn't seen it all the way through before and wasn't expecting much when I watched it (I was mostly there for Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, and Idris Elba + Ridley Scott, etc), but I liked it.
