I agree, I think they could do great things with this whole baby born after apocalypse and raised thing.

Not to mention the kids not even Ricks really, haha.

Did anyone else think the fight between Rick and The Gov was really well choreographed/shot? One shot in particular I was almost convinced Rick landed a punch on his face

Talking dead had an interview and they said Rick was really punching the Governor in the face. And the Gov took it like a man.

lol Hershel's head is gonna reanimate and just chomp away alone in that field. What a disturbing thought

Great finish. Everything I wanted from last season. This new showrunner is kicking ass. He better not quit/get fired.

Sad to see Phillip go but it had to happen. Glad they are finally out of the prison. Will bring some suspense and action to see them having to survive without walls to protect them. I can't wait to see who the new big bad will be though. Keep this moving forward at this pace please. It has been excellent.

Also aren't we expected to think that Lizzie is the one who is doing the rats and the one who killed Karen? After seeing her shooting that chick in the forehead etc. Carol may have covered for her knowing she raised a killer but knowing that was what needed to be done. Also her treating the biters like pets would also be in line with the rats. That's just my theory and what I gathered from it.

It took me days and days to finally watch episodes in season 3 but this season I can't wait for the next episode. February can't come fast enough.

Also agree with Curtis for Carl and Rick to grow and face adversity even more Judith needs to have really died.

Also you guys Bob and Tyrese have been upgraded to series regular, I know this show has a knack for killing characters but I wouldn't see them dying anytime soon. Though I was in fear for Tyrese for a second...yet another close call for the badass character.

Two favorite moments from the first half:

The Gov slicing Herschel's neck after seemingly realizing what Rick said. Quite surprising and burtal

And when Tyrese was trapped in the car for a minute and still made it out. Badass.

I feel like we would have been better served had we seen The Governor's story running CONCURRENTLY with the prison arc. Much like early season 3 where the action was split between Woodbury and prison but they had not crossed paths yet.

Maybe, but I was so tired of the Season 3 narrative style that I'm glad they scrapped it. It made it easier for me to know who was who going into that battle.

Tyrese and Herschel were both promoted to series regulars on the same day.

Sasha is also a series regular (and the actress is a series regular on two shows that are not filmed in the same location).

Herschel wasn't a series regular in season 3? Huh....

Nope. He was a special guest star. Wasn't promoted until Season 4 began filming, same with Beth.

I feel like that's a line Jack Shephard has said at one point
