Grizzly Man

vry good documentary, it was so fascinating watching some of those glimpses into his inner psyche that could only really be captured with him being completely isolated like that. Guy was a bit of a KOOK

I watched Acts of Violence. It was pretty good for an action flick. The trafficking angle made it more than that, too.

Sicario 2

It was alright. Doesn’t touch the first, lacks a lot of the tension that made the first so good. I’ll forget everything that happened in two weeks

watch Tropic Thunder and tell me Cruise is one note

Tropic Thunder is his best movie imo.

He's good in the first Mission Impossible, Top Gun and the Jerry Maguire film, but his other roles just seems to be Tom Cruise play Tom Cruise.

Polar. It's like a good Steven Seagal film, but intentionally funny.

Bohemian Rhapsody 5/10

Halloween 2018 5/10

God I fricking hate these kinda horror movies because they’re so stupid to me. But the wife likes em and you know give and take. So.

This one was actually decent as it kept the stupidity kinda low.

Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 - FINALLY saw these and they were v good as expected, my love of Tarantino movies definitely outweighed my disinterest in martial arts movies in this case. And QT definitely got more creative with this than maybe any of his other movies, especially with that anime sequence and some of the weird directing choices in general. Cast was great etc and I finally understand where SidewinderBudd originates from (: KINDA bittersweet having finally watched this tho cuz now there won't be any more new Tarantino movies to watch (besides uhh...Death Proof...) but at least there's a new one coming out this year?

https://letterboxd.com/carter_sauce/list/tarantino/

They Shall Not Grow Old - v interesting/eye-opening, I was actually hoping there'd be even MORE colored sequences than there were but after watching the featurette after the credits I can see why they stopped where they did (: I like how PJ's love of making behind-the-scenes stuff has now progressed to just sticking it after the movie itself now that those are kinda fading away from home media, that was almost as interesting as the movie itself. We kinda reflexively went with the 2D showing over 3D but I wonder how much of a difference that would've made to the movie, was still v cool as is
