Why am I the only one being called out for commenting on DS's overnight stupidity?

Having just re-appeared after a long sleep, Curtis begins looking around himself, realizing that something doesn't feel right. No one has died, but he can't quite shake the feeling that someone is after him. As he reaches down to pick up his canteen, he pauses. He finds a nearby dog he never liked very much and gives it some of the water to drink. The dog laps it up happily, wagging it's tail and smiling up at Curtis as dogs do when they feel like they're being rewarded. As it turns to walk away, it freezes, limbs locking up. It turns it's head slowly, mournful eyes locked on Curtis, as it's life fades away (YES PEOPLE IN WESTEROS ARE PIECES OF SHIT, I KNOW!)
Curtis has survived an attack. The day continues. |

It had been an interesting morning. In-fighting. A dead dog. Paranoia. Everyone proceeded cautiously as they went about their business and prepared for the night. They checked their coffers, sharpened their swords, cleaned their wounds. There was an unnerving peace in the air. Until there wasn't. Out of nowhere came a horrible scream, the kind that reaches deep into the hearts of all as we mourn with the one who's hurting, aware that there is no return from that kind of pain. And when the silence returned, a body lay on the ground, twisted in agony.
