Tomb Raider (the newest one) NOPE...this game is booooooring and the handling is shit...the gameplay has nothing unique to it and the setting is just...meh
Alan Wake <---- POSITIVE. unique and genius gameplay. story is pure QUALITY. Remedy Games = auto-win. It's the most brilliant story to be told in a game in a looooong time.
Dead Rising - don't know don't care
Dead Rising 2 - ^same
L. A. Noire <---- POSITIVE. unique. been 7 years in the making. highly innnovative (but also expensive) shit. won't see a game like that every other year....if ever again. PLAY IT!

except for time....which is money....srsly that game is PURE mediocre. it has no soul, no immersion....it's a mixture of many ubisoft games tagged with the TOMB RAIDER title so fans of that franchise would buy it. Just go read some reviwes of people who know the franchise....not a single cock is giving this game credit...and that's legit!

Eh, I'm not familiar with the franchise at all, but I figured it might be worth a shot just for the heck of it.

Just played through the first episode of Alan Wake, and I can see why it's so popular. I absolutely loved Carl Stucky's dialogue, there's something brilliant about an unseen force that malevolently offers you advice about changing spark plugs. It's certainly got some clever writers, and I'm really enjoying watching the story unfold.

It's intentionally not like the rest of the franchise, so you don't have to be familiar.

So I went for the "Public Menace" achievement in LA Noire and did over $128,000 in total damages (I only needed $47,000). :D

The last of us has been getting some great reviews (very perfect to be exact). Anyone know if its only going to be PS exclusive? Cause fuck that. Why not make it PC as well? I hate playing shooters without a mouse, you just dont have enough control over what you are doing....

I swear the last time I was posting in here I was posting about Mass Effect. Finally playing ME3. Replaying the Bioshocks after that.

Embarrassing update, I finally finished Mass Effect 3. I started the series when 3 came out last March, and finally finished the last installment. I played a bunch of games between each installment, but I'm somewhat embarrassed that it took me two months to finish the last one. I kept getting distracted with other things (Netflix, Walking Dead comics, Books, FPS online multiplayer).

It's done, and I will be starting the original bioshock today.



Last of Us looks amazing AND is set in Pittsburgh (represent!). I intended to get this Day 1, but I do not think I will be able to swing it right now. Money is a little tight, and there are a few other things I would much rather put on my card (Big Brother Live Feeds at the end of the month).

Definitely! I love both games. A lot of people hated on LA Noire, but I thought it was great.

Fuck Naughty Dog indeed. IGN hailed them as the best developers out there when reviewing the game....big fuckin joke. truly great developers give a fuck about platforms and don't sell out. the game certainly looks great and if general reviews are to be trusted this is highly probable worth a play. BUT, it is not worth buying a 7 year old console and a fuckin TV along with it. Allegedly the best PS3 game to this date? I don't care...

and Ari I take it you meant to say "hate playing with shooters with a CONTROLLER" instead of "mouse" ....and I couldn't agree with you more.
A whole hand hovering over a mouse > a thumb on a stick. It's simple logic. If you love a challenge in aiming you don't play shooters with a stick and auto aim. so for the birds....damn
