Is that not a pretty MASSIVE thing to ignore? DS is *directly* accusing you of being scum - how is your read on Lamps comparable to that in any way if you're actually town?

I've seen DS do some pretty weird shit, but he always has a justification for how it helps his faction in the end. I've never seen him throw. So I don't there is any way that a town-aligned DS makes up that role purely to get rid of you (especially considering you never went against your win condition to target him last game, only pretended to).

I'm not ignoring it. I'm trying to leave as much personal stuff out of my decision making. It's really hard for me to not vote DS, because he is directly reporting wrong information about my character. I'm honestly just trying to ignore him.

I'm playing to my win condition, and at present, I'm not sure voting DS advances my win condition. While voting DS would advance my survival instinct, finding actual scum would advance my win condition.

Angi your signature with that post makes it sound so much meaner, I love it

Well, I was hand picked to be a Miller in a game with no cops, so I guess it's not true 100% of the time.

This is exactly why I feel inclined to believe DS, because even if his play style can be infuriating, I think he does have respect for the game and genuinely tries to scumhunt. This just seems too over the top for him.

Remember when he was outraged at the thought of a townie killing town? Or when he thought I character-claimed in Buffy's game and was mad I didn't get modkilled? Those reactions don't lead me to believe that DS would go to these kind of extremes just to get Spin lynched due to a grudge.

I agreed with almost everything Timmah posted last game, about the claiming and the laziness of it, but I'm getting the feeling the only way anyone will leave me alone is if I claim.

Do I seriously need to claim on D1?

I know scum skates by most D1's, laying back and letting town lynch town (well, other than Scumtis last game), so they must really be having a good D1, as the whole day has been focused on me and DS, and they can keep hidden without any issue.

I'm holding back because I think he made up the whole 'investigation' claim, just to try to get me lynched because I killed him last game. He wanted something to do on D1, and figured if he made a crazy claim, he'd get me killed, then open D2 with a lol. Sorry, your reasons for not wanting to vote for DS don't make any sense to me. If you thought he was town that was literally disregarding his win condition simply to spread lies about you on day 1, I still think you'd be pushing for his lynch more than you actually are (IMO intentionally throwing town is as bad as scum).

I think it's likely that DS isn't truly admitting his reasons for wanting to scan you in the first place (I don't think he was mad at you, but you played last game pretty masterfully and single handedly got rid of him, so you'd be on his radar as a threat). It's definitely possible he's lying about his entire role, but your odd reaction really makes me think there is some truth to his claims.
