It's important to know if the message was sent by the person who it said was town or not. If th was then it's kind of like a town crier type role and is legit. If not then it's probably some town journalist type thing that isn't as easily legit

No one coming out about getting that message last night is INTRIGUING

And I had thought about the sender knowing that I didn't publicly out the information.
But because I had acknowledged receiving it in a subtler way, I think it was okay.

If the sender was a Townie, they might be suspicious of someone hiding that they even received a note, especially if it says that someone is town.
If the sender was Mafia or scum, they might not want to out that they sent the note, if the receiver says nothing about receiving it.

If the sender and the person the note is about, are the same person, and legit Town, I don't want to out them.

that gives Mafia more information than they need about someone else's role.

If not then the sender is most likely scum, unless the sender also has a day cop ability in addition to their night messaging. Because otherwise they wouldn't know for sure and couldn't speak in absolutes.

Right. So the only real way to know is if someone happens to track/watch anything that has to do with the note giver or that person is killed. So there's nothing we can do to know at this point unfortunately

Lynching Aries is a shot in the dark imo, so I'll keep my vote where it is for now. Don't see better options atm.

I was considering Timmah for a sec but meh. Jamie too. I think DS may be the best alternative actually, if only for the fact that we're gonna have the same discussions about his role and claiming over and over again.
