who impressed us the most this episode? Winner contenders? Who do we not like?
Personally I liked Hali this episode, she seems to be playing well. Also really liked Zeke.
Didn't like Troy or Michaela, they both came off as annoying.

Oh I also didn't like Tai. I had to see him back on my screen again doing Tai things to realize I don't need more Tai. I got all I needed in Kaoh Rong (and loved it), but now it just feels exhausting.

This is the moment I knew Tony was destined for an early exit :mal:

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I don't even think Tony is a good player. He has good reads on people but that's about it. He is too whimsical in his game play and not grounded enough. He does make the game interesting, but without trish in Cagayan, that win would not have been possible.
I guess I will say he must have a good social game to get Woo to take him to the end though. That, or Woo is that much of an idiot. |
|
I guess I don't get the Tony love. He is one of the most entertaining and crazy winners, but by far, he is in the lower tier of players in terms of winners. I just don't think he compares in gameplay. Like, good, methodical, smart gameplay. He lacks in any sort of self-control and is purely an impulsive player. Makes him interesting to watch, but not good in my opinion. I also don't like him as a person and think he's way overhyped. |

I don't even remember anyone from the blue tribe it was like they werent in the episode at all unless it was to trash cirie. Sandra being so aggressive was new to watch, especially so early. When her ass is on the line she puts in the work and you can see how good she is. Reminds me when she got Coach voted out in HvV. I felt bad for Cirie, hopefully the swap helps her. Varner in that challenge was a struggle to watch. Malcolm came off good and so did Caleb (ew). I'll need to check confessional counts for people but i feel like top 3 visible people were sandra tony and malcolm this episode.
I was wrong about Jamie he is a true visionary and I name him my successor |

Andrea was invis in the second hour, but she got a bit of minimal attention shoved in the first.
and yeah Bryce idk if you should post opinions as the season goes on. a lot of it can lead the mind. I figured Tony would go early based on that too

You should have known he was destined for an early exit the minute you saw him run off into the jungle.
Unless Tony actually tries to do something to change his perception, he will be pre-jury in any season he plays from this day forward. I didn't even need to spell it out for you. And honestly, especially after this episode, I really don't understand the Tony love. At all. His antics worked once but I think someone in this thread nailed it when they said he got the chance to show that his game play doesn't always work.
He came in knowing he had a target and he doesn't know how to do anything other than what he did and it only made it bigger. From what I heard, on the island Tony was a freak. No one trusted him except Aubry apparently.

I'm sure some reasons a lot of us love Tony is because he's captivating to watch and he's just FUN!!!
