Watched The Death of Stalin and Mr. Nobody
The Death of Stalin was good, would recommend, Buscemi and Beale were great.
I realized 15 minutes into Mr. Nobody that I had already seen it, still watched it through with one eye since I didn't remember it that well, it was decent.

Finally got around to seeing The Sound of Music for the first time. I was surprised by how much I loved it. The songs are all stuck in my head now. I enjoyed the story. It definitely made it into my top 3 musicals.

Watched The Spy Who Dumped Me last night. Not good and not horrible and not worth watching. |

Thunder Road
good but tbh the trailer showed most of the best parts. It kinda felt like an excuse to string together those bursts of (great) showcase acting at times, I can kinda see why it was originally conceived as a short film

A 40 minute true crime doc on Netflix
Zersch, watch this without reading a WORD about it. You will not regret it |
I'm going to watch this. You should also watch "The Innocent Man"

That’s a fair complaint, those big scenes just worked so well for me so I really liked it overall
That reveal of the handprint taped to the wall so he could practice the clapping game overnight was my favorite small movie moment this year

Just finished watching Bird Box.
|
It was.. alright? I guess.
The premise was fun and there were some fun moments but overall it fell kind of flat? And the writing was rough and cliche. But the acting was really good in it?! Just bad dialogue. I don't think I'd watch it again but it was fun for what it was. Just kind of unoriginal. |

Watched 9. Such a fun animated movie. One of my favorites that I hadn’t seen in awhile. |

Bad Times at the El Royale
“Pretty Good”. Everything was pretty good. Story, acting, direction.
Nothing stood out but it was an entertaining movie, vaguely predictable.

Inglorious Bastards. My kids couldn't believe I hadn't seen it so it was our Christmas Eve movie.

I watched Emperor's New Groove last night again. It's probably my favorite animated movie considering how much I actually watch it.
Then I watched The Little Hours and I was actually laughing the whole way through it. I didn't expect it to be as funny as it ended up being.
And then I ended the night watching The Nutcracker for Christmas-sake and didn't realize that the Home Alone kid was the main guy in it. I wasn't ready for THAT!

Now my family is making me watch Stepbrothers since my daughter got it for Christmas.
