So good. Came out this year, kinda underseen. One of my favorites from this year

Watched American made the other night. It was pretty good.

The Nun

There were a few scenes that were kinda neat I guess but it was pretty bad. Maybe the low point of the Conjuring CINEMATIC UNIVERSE. I hope Sam Jackson's Nick Fury shows up in the courtroom scenes of The Conjuring 3 talking about a 2spooky Initiative and has a fist fight with the accused werewolf that spills over into the jury box.

I actually read about this a week or so ago, but the details of the case didn't stick with me. Just that..

So the grin on my face spread as it dawned on me that this was about the same story I had read about. What a perfect storm of evidence.

Shaun of the Dead

Honestly, the first time I watched this I wasn't the biggest fan. I don't know why. I didn't not like it, but I thought Hot Fuzz blew it out of the water. Upon rewatching, I'm not so sure of that. I might lean towards this one now.

The short throwaway scene where Shaun is sitting on the bus listening to this song:



is truer to my experience living in England more than you'll ever know. I swear I heard that song every day for about a month straight.

In the theatre with Sophie about to watch Into The Spiderverse. Everyone said it was good. About to find out

Sophie got scared so we left with like 20 minutes left. It’s visually stunning. Very good art work. Story was ok though. I might have liked it more if I saw the whole thing but it wasn’t something you need to rush to see in the theatre imo. But I can’t rave enough about how visually appealing it was done. Very good

Watched I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore. and Train to Busan.

I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore. was ok, nothing bad about it, just wasn't that great.

Train to Busan was great, fuck Yon-suk.

I definitely liked Shaun better. Maybe because I watched it first.
