It really is a shame. I am sure that moment was really touching for Ben and should have been for us. I'm sure it would have touched me if Ben had gotten fourth. However, now I'm just salty. Zeke's gotta be pissed. Production did him dirty. He should have atleast made final 5

I found it really odd Probst made a big deal about fire challenge deciding the final spot and saying it has never happened before like we didn't have to sit through a montage of Sundra and Becky making fire for hours

K so fair warning. This post is gonna be very Igor-ish

First of all, how did you dumbfucks think anyone other than Ben was winning? No one was even CLOSE to him edit wise. Yes I am rubbing all the glory of my confirmation bias in ur faces because I called the winner ages ago.

THAT BEING SAID, I haaaaaaaate that Ben won and I HATE HOW he won. That was complete and utter horseshit. Rehiding idols at final fucking 5 and then the literal worst twist the show has ever thought of. All because the producers wanted to make sure that the white-alpha-american-marine-dad won this game. For the first time since I've been a fan of this show, I thought to myself "Yeah I DON'T wanna go on Survivor" That was fucked up.

The positives - Devon's move at F5. BRILLIANT. Amazing instincts and balls to follow up on said instincts. And as much as I hate her, Chrissy's FTC was powerful and moving. I don't know what brand of heroine the jury were snorting when they still voted Ben to win over her after hearing that speech but man. Chrissy knocked it out of the park. Ryan made to look like a fucking chump at FTC was icing on the cake.

This new jury format is pretty awful but its not like we were getting good speeches anyways so not a big net loss. All in all, this season was pretty fucking awful with an ending that was somehow worse than the awfulness of the entire season put together.

The theme of the next season looks kinda cool especially if they have a few fans who like appreciate the historic value of whatever they're gonna put in. Not holding out hope for it to be good though considering the godawful F4 twist still being in play.
