My two cents 1. So far it appears we have a "be last one alive" win condition. The Hunger games usually have one winner, the game with Katniss and Peta was altered for ratings on the fly. But you have a point, there could be two that have a win con of surviving to the end with the other person. 2. Could be right. Most just assuming based on first movie/book 3. Explain why you think there could be a cult? Are you referring to potential group of the careers, or another separate group?

like you, it makes my skin crawl when people start declaring themselves "cleared". even with the strongest arguments, there are usually some assumptions lurking in there and so i think it's important to flag them -- otherwise it creates an opportunity for scum to sneak in and we end up "clearing" someone we shouldn't.

i agree with others that this is likely a LMS setup, with maybe a small wincon wrinkle for katniss/peeta (note that we haven't seen any flips from district 12 yet). i wish the flips weren't so sparse, but i'm assuming that careers can win as a group and so it seems fitting (with both mafia and the theme) that some townish group can as well. so i'm not suggesting a traditional cult per se, but i don't think it's inconceivable that there is some way for multiple 'town' to win (e.g. if recruited by katniss), especially since that seems to have been a repeating plotpoint for the movies.

Also as an aside, can people stop making jabs at Josh whenever mention of a vig comes up? Vig is a really hard role and I can't imagine how much harder it is when you're new to playing mafia with this group. I know it's not happening right now but I've been noticing it and it's really dumb.

It's been happening in basically every game since Josh was vig. Ahoda did it today, Lamps has basically done it every game since. I was just saying it's getting old, but I don't want to get into this again.
