Meaning I can only attempt to use it once. If I'm not targeted that night I basically wasted my only move in the game and can't attempt again some other time.

So I have to calculate the best time to use it so that it is actually effective.

I'm not sure how to feel about that claim, but I'm down to look at other options.

1 time BP feels super weak if it's something you have to activate.

Was going to agree and post same. A 1 time bp but you have to pick the night, otherwise you are screwed? What are the chances that works?
