Seeing it tomorrow. Pretty excited
How was my boy CUMBERBATCH? |
NOT BAD. I've never seen him in anything else but I thought he was a strong physical presence and his voice was great. He really sells an EMOTIONAL moment that could have been significantly worse. |

I saw Place Beyond the Pines. Pretty good!

I was shocked to see Luke die so early. Gosling did a really good job
The twist with the kids was pretty cool. I kinda think they should've went all-out and had Jason get revenge for his father though. The ending seemed like a bit of a cop-out to me. |

I was almost certain that he would end up killing Bradley Cooper. So I was really surprised when he didn't, in a good way
The movie took so many strange twists that I didn't see coming. Luke's death first of all. Then smaller things. Like when the police officers took Bradley Cooper to the house. I just didn't expect the movie to start getting into stuff like that. I had no idea what the movie was about. I didn't even know Bradley Cooper was IN it, so when he suddenly appeared and I realized it was him and the story was handed off, that surprised me.
The scene where Ray Liota drives him out into the woods was so chilling. I really loved that movie |

Yeah, I knew almost nothing about it too. I think that helped a lot.
It was pretty cool how it was like a three-act movie. Almost separate stories connected together. Luke's story, Avery's story, and then Jake's story. |
