Watched Ready Player 1

I’d give it a 6.

Original story with pretty decent special effects.

Watched Walking Tall 2004 with the Rock

I’d give it a 4.

The wife picked it. There was literally no serious acting in this movie.
The story was quite unbelievable even tho it was wry loosely based on a true story.

But it was still better than the original.

The Nice Guys

Really fun! It's been a while since I last saw Kiss Kiss Bang Bang so I'm not sure which one I prefer but this one had similar vibes but with Gosling + Crowe in 1970s L.A. The little girl "sidekick" was surprisingly one of the better aspects as well, and I usually hate child actors.

Actually No.

The original was in context of the true story and was made in ‘73, so no fancy effects or slick fight scenes and it was made on a shoestring budget. But the character development and the story itself was miles ahead of the 2004 one which was just basically an advertisement for Dwayne Johnson. They both featured some pretty bad acting but I still liked the original better as did most people according to IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes.

I have never seen 2001 a space odyssey so I have decided to use today to watch it in IMAX.

Will update

I enjoyed it. The IMAX definitely made it. Music was intense.

Thoughts+

Bronson is the worst actor of all time.

Ok, but he’s not in this movie. LMAO!
