If you lived in the devil's asshole like I did you'd reconsider summer as your favourite.

dc has miserable summers and frigid winters. yay the worst of both worlds!

I'm not saying the summer's consistently as bad as it is there, but we do hit the same extremes. The south never hits -20 with -50 wind chill likes it does here tho

We did have that terrible ice storm last year that literally no one was prepared for. The south doesn't have the infrastructure to deal with ice clearly. Not that I minded it... Other than the week of no power.

Summer temperatures aren't that different in the north and south at all. There's a much bigger gap when you compare winters in the north/south

The humidity gets miserable up here too! And the winters are pretty terrible as well.

I just like snow and cold more than heat and humidity. I'm miserable whenever the temperatures go above 80, but I'm still pretty happy even when it dips below zero. Thus winter is great

I just hate winter because snow's a pain in the ass to deal with. If it was just the cold temperatures alone I wouldn't mind it

tbh if I had to do a lot of driving winter would quickly lose its appeal, but since I don't and I make a decent amount shoveling, snow is welcome. As long as its not snow on top of sleet. That's the worst to deal with. I'll take 100 degree temps over shoveling sleet

Let's just have a consistent late Autumn.
