lol I'm with Igor, Jon Stewart >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> John Oliver. Not necessarily on the quality of 'journalism', but Oliver's constant smug/condescending tone makes most of his stuff unwatchable for me
I have to admit I find John Oliver's accent extremely annoying. My ex was watching his show with me once while was in the U.S. for Christmas and he was like "No one has talked in an accent like that since Charles Dickens was alive and child labor was alive and well in England."
I used to love Conan O'Brien and David Letterman the most back in the day, at least among the ones aired in Sweden.
Bill Maher, Stephen Colbert and John Oliver are probably my top 3 picks, Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmel got some good material as well so I take a look at their stuff every now and then.
Trevor Noah really underwhelms me but he's very on point when he talks about what he knows. He did a brilliant segment a little over a year ago comparing Trump to African dictators and it was so perfect. Otherwise, though, I can't say I've kept up with the Daily Show since Stewart left. That was the only show of that variety I really watched.
