Well I can't SWIM-SWIM, like specific strokes and stuff, but I love swimming. I would likely drown if I was in a situation where my ability to swim is the difference between life and death, but otherwise once I am swimming the very thought of no longer swimming makes me angry. The person below me has a fun camping story.

One time we had just arrived at the camp ground when I got out of my dad's truck to go explore the lot we picked. I happen to have a bit of an irrational fear of dogs. Mostly large dogs, but occassiionally small ones too. I don't know why this is at all becaus most dogs I know are quite friendly, including the one that ripped part of my baby cousin's face off. ANYWAY, I was out of the truck, and had just slammed the door when I saw a big black dog running very quickly from the woods in my general direction. I had a minor panic attack right there. FROZEN IN TERROR BECAUSE DOG.

But then as it got closer, within about 10 feet of me, I realized this large blackish brown mass was not a dog at all, and my little panic session ended immediately. Even though the thing was a fucking bear. My fight or flight response sometimes thinks that chihauhaus will eat me. But bears? Totally fine forrest friends.

For the record the bear was a juvenile bear, not fully grown, so it was the size of a rather large dog. It ran about 4 feet in front of me. Apparently some kids wth a shotgun were chasing it. I hope they were victorious.

I came within approximately 2 inches of being trampled by an entire family of deer. I stopped to tie my shoe. They came from the brush and stampeded in front of me. This was while hiking in elementary school on our annual Camp Pilgrim Hills trip.
