Wedding Crashers

6/10

sometimes funny
a lot of times not funny

It was one of those where all of the funny parts could fit into a couple of trailers.

Didn't get to go this weekend after all. Mom didn't feel well, so hung out at her house instead.

Watched Wonder Wheel last night. I liked it. It was slow but the story was entertaining.

Also watched The Big Lebowski at the gym. Such a good flick.

Watched To Be Or Not To Be last night. Mel Brooks is a genius and it was enjoyable. Wasn't his best or up there with Spaceballs or Men In Tights but still good.

Also watched Lady Bird and I enjoyed it more then I thought I would. I felt bad for her mom and she just couldn't express the right words every single time. I hope I'm not like that as a dad. (:

Before Sunrise

what a lovely movie. I can't wait to watch the next two now. I wish I watched this ages ago and spaced the three movies out as intended. It would've been so great to see each one as it came out. Really fun idea, Linklater is NEAT

Invasion of the Bodysnatchers

The Donald Sutherland version. Liked it a lot!

I'm planning to see a movie with my daughter tomorrow. This was our text convo:

Quote
Me: How about Book Club @ 1:20pm
Her: Okay cool
Her: Wait, is that the movie with old people?
Me: Yes
Her: Oh. You might be more comfortable seeing that with someone your own age.

Thus my new interest in Hereditary :P

Bride of Re-Animator

Not as good as the first but still campy fun. I love the absolute absurdity of each finale. This one just didn't do much that was new (besides splicing together the body parts which tbh was a lot of fun). Jeffrey Combs remains the best part, West is such a great character and he cracked me up a few times throughout this

Yeah, they are goofy, gory, campy fun.

Like if Hellraiser stopped trying to be serious.

So, at the risk of being "overly kumbaya" ... see this movie. It makes me want to be kinder to everyone - and all of FE. And gives me hope. Such a great man.

Saturday night we watched The Night Before. One of my favorite Christmas comedies.

Sunday I watched Jurassic World on the plane. It's decent.

Sunday night watched Infinity War again. I liked it better the second time but oi the scenes of Banner in the Hulk Buster is just baaaaaaaaaaddddddd
