Alan Wake was so damn good.
I'd love a sequel to come along soon.
It's the first and last "survival horror" game in a long time that completely sucked me in.

That's the underground one right? I assume so cause of the title (:
I saw Steve Aspen play it one night a couple of years ago. Looked pretty sweet

Merc is it really, REALLY good? I heard that for example the stealth system coulda been done waaay better, as it supposingly just seperates shadow and light. as in you can't sneak past a guard when you're in the light, but in a shadow you can stand in fornt of him, obviously, and he wouldn't see ya. Well, minor things I guess. You played metro 2033 before this right? | "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. I didn't play Metro 2033 but I'm also not a fan of stealth games, so I'm ok with the not so complex system.

Did you buy the THQ bundle Merc? Metro 2033 was in that. I played it a long time ago but I have been meaning to reinstall it and try it again. I remember it not being very long? Perhaps Henry can correct me.

Been a while but can't say Metro 2033 was short, maybe if you compare it to I don't know....Mass Efffect 1 or 2 maybe. Yeah metro is linear but you can spend some good time with it, depends on whether you run through it or take your time and try different approaches to given situations.
for example if you wanna clean out that one hotel above ground really good, going from the lobby to the penthouse, taking out one by one with a throwing knife to the neck, or face, then you certainly won't get bored or finished any time soon. metro 2033 is a must play. | "There he goes. Soooo... one of the characters in the beginning has the same voice actor as one of the bad dudes in Last Light(or I'm being racist), which is a little annoying.
