That theme seems lame to me.

Will they have an idol from every season? That’ll make it fun double idols every week!

I do like the fan call back of it.

But IMO as the grumpy old survivor purist at most there should be 2 idols (maybe a third one re-hidden if played pre-merge or early merge) in the game for the entire season. If you want to throw another vote based advantage in then thats fine but I'll be bah humbug about it.

That seems like there is going to be a shit ton.

I do hope they make the stick an actual idol though.

More advantages/idols = more opportunity to rig

this theme would have been better with a returnee cast who MADE the bad decisons. But lbr it would be like game changers with weird choices

I don't even know why they bother. This one was super short but was like a giant promo for the next season. They bring all those people back to the studio and on stage and don't even talk to most of them.

also "You look like you gotta be a Chrissy fan" Jeff says to one of the Chrissy fans they cast for the audience. :P

Nobody expected Ben to win because he was everyone's target. I didn't read any of the previous comments, but I like that everyone still had a chance to make that final tribal council.

Devon made a very good play by writing down Dr. Mike's name. He was a strategic thinker. I did laugh when he was practicing fire making and the flint broke and he took it as a sign that he should save his energy for the actual challenge.

Chrissy handled herself well in the jury questioning as well, but like last season, I hate how they do it in three sections now, but I like the open conversation.

Hopefully this isn't a good idea for the fans like doing a fire making challenge at F4.

During the challenge, Jeff said that it was the first time the final spot would be decided by fire making or something like that. Surely there's been a season or two where the final vote tied and had to be decided that way?
