I cannot believe they couldn't even wait until after the season to let him go. I hate firings like this because it doesn't make any sense to pull the trigger now. While it was obvious that Kubiak would get fired, I don't see the point in doing it with three games left in the season and no chance of making the playoffs

Maybe they didn't want him to ruin their chances at Bridgewater/Clowney (:

Haha I honestly think at this point they are guaranteed one of them. But you're probably right I didn't think of that

Brady was awful in the beginning of the season though. They were winning games because of their defense, which is a lot better than the Broncos' defense in my opinion.

Awful is an exaggeration. Brady looked human, not awful. Brady still had more TD's than Int's and he was sporting one of the best records in the NFL including a win over the then undefeated Saints.
With Ryan Mallet throwing to the likes of Thompkins and Dobson the patriots would not have won more than 3-4 games thus far.

Before Gronkowski was back the Pats were 22nd in PPG. From the time he's returned until now, the Patriots are 2nd. Gronkowski has been a huge help, but he's just one weapon.
Amendola has been less of a factor and he's only missed 4 games. He's definitely above Dobson and Thompkins, but he's currently not playing like a 'star' receiver this season.

The Broncos under Osweiler would be doing far better than the Patriots under Mallet.

Well fuck you Vikings. Dolphins had the 6th seed for a second there :(

And yeah in typical Dolphin fashion they almost choked away another one. I wouldn't have been surprised if Antonio scored there at ALL.
