It was NOT. This one felt completely different and just didn’t have any moment that I walked away really rattled like in the first one.

Icarus
A really great documentary about a guy stumbling right into the literal center of the Russian Olympic doping scandal while trying to do a more simple Supersize Me type doc about steroids improving his possible placement on the Haute Route.
It just won an Oscar so i knew it would be good, Grigory really gets a rough shake all things considered when he was just trying to do the right thing. The depth of the corruption involved in this alone is insane.
Russia cray. | |

Midnighters
Fun low budget twisty little thriller. Well made and well acted. Could do a lot worse if you're looking for something in this genre

After owning it for awhile, we finally sat down and watched El Mariachi. We've watched Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico (a favorite) probably hundreds of times but we kept forgetting to watch this. Glad we finally did- fun film for as little budget as it had. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

Man on the Moon followed by Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond
MOTM was pretty entertaining but god, Jim & Andy was RIVETING. Really gives a new perspective on Carrey beyond how entertaining the behind the scenes shit was at face value
I kinda wanna do the same thing with Apocalypse Now (which I still somehow haven't seen) followed by Hearts of Darkness now |
I recently watched Jerry the King Lawler documentary, It's Good To Be The King. :P It was neat seeing them talk about his feud with Andy Kaufman. I remember hearing about it when I was a kid, but didn't know much about it.

Last night, I watched Cabin In The Woods for the second time. I think I liked it better knowing what was going on the whole time.
The last 20 minutes are insane. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was

the end, where literally everyone dies. :P |

Watched Snowden
Egh, it was ok. I do wonder how much of that movie is true and how much was dramatized.
I am not on the side of his and I don't have a problem with NSA recording all conversations and combing them for words or phrases. |

Finally watched Frida after all the hoopla that Salma Hayek apparently went through with Weinstein to get this movie made (including Ed Norton doing an uncredited rewrite on things). It was OK, but didn't portray how hellish her life was at times, which is OK since it was going for a art-flick version so its expected to be somewhat whitewashed and glorified.

We started watching Lady Psycho Killer, but that started looking like it was going to be a softcore porn flick instead of a slasher flick.

I knew you'd say that (:
You getting off to 18 year olds watching you getting off aside, do people behave the same way when they are watched and when they are not?
Especially when being watched by law enforcement?
Mass surveillance is restricting people's freedom by taking their privacy away.
It´s amazing how many people from "The Land of the Free™" don't care about their freedom.

The real fun starts when you add far authoritarian government to mass surveillance.

If the USA was doing it, don't you think other countries were doing it? Terrorist groups? |

You're comparing the US to terrorist groups to justify them restricting your freedom.
