16. Mittens - Killed Night 2 (Town Hider)

Three times per game, at night you may hide behind another player. While hiding, you cannot be directly targeted by another player. However if you hide behind a player who is attacked, you will also be attacked.

If you successfully hide twice, you will earn an extra ability.

HIDDEN TEXT: After two successful hides, the cuffs come off and you will be able to use the following ability:
Once per game, at night, though you aren't generally a violent monster, you may attempt to kill another player. You cannot use this action and hide behind someone on the same night.

Maybe IM317 really is SK and this was some brilliant play from the beginning

I wonder if mittens hid behind a BP that he would also survive the attack, or the attack wouldn't go through to the hider behind?

The role reveal doesn't really spell it out although it suggests that mittens would have been attacked too.

IM317 says he attacked gmaj, who was just a TV. His kill had to have been redirected. Bus driver makes the most sense, but if mittens also hid behind gmaj then the swap had to have been with someone BP. If it was anyone that died, mittens would have died that night.

If you didn't get a chance to kill this game then Christian just didn't like you.

I feel like if you hide behind a BP, you survive also but you wouldn't know. I thought Hider died if target died, but only if.

Unless IM317 hit a BP player (Jackie?) and that also saved mittens. Honestly, given all of the moving parts and what IM317 has claimed, that seems the only realistic explanation to me. Otherwise, someone simply redirected IM317 to someone else, and that person would know who the BP player is/was. Doesn't seem like mafia did that if it is the case, because we'd have someone pushing harder on someone to be SK or something.

No one claimed the first survival. Are we to think Mafia hit SK N1 via a redirect/bus of 317 and then gambled on trying to kill them again last night?

I mean, this seems most likely. I don't know why there hasn't been a bigger push to lynch the person though. I guess the mafia is afraid of outing themselves as being responsible for the bus driving.

For the third and probably not last time — I assumed this whole time im was odd night vig. I Didn’t want to ask him for more info because I figured he was being obtuse about his full capabilities to hide that fact.

Is it really that illogical to assume that an even night vig would think the other claimed vig is odd night?

I mean. Jamie has now asked me to claim. And I can. But should I wait u til 317 comes in?

Also question. Mittens claimed he knew Gmaj wasn’t bussed with either of the kills n1. So this is why we all assume it was a redirect right. I’d the redirect was Town. Maybe they got redirected to one of the actual deaths N1 instead of the survived attack which is why they havnt come forward?
