I'll try and maybe type all my thoughts out and then put them in one post as to not spam this thread watching month old episodes.

This doesn't flow very well because I was just typing down thoughts as it went but oh well

episode 1 thoughts:

I love this introduction roundtable. Also, this is the first time I have ever heard the term "gaymer".

What is this twist? I hope there's no twist and they're just screwing with them.

Kelsey bringing her language skills to every confessional is already annoying me. It's a great skill to have, but I couldn't be more annoyed by it. And instead of subtitles, they have her resay it in english...ugh

WHAT. She gets to send someone home? Ah, that twist was honestly kind of lame.

It was so obvious they were going to gang up on Kelsey and they just didn't want to talk about it.

These team name reveals are just fantastic.

Sad to see Chris get voted, but it's a good strategy by the other team.

Okay...these throws are terrible. It doesn't look that hard! I was worried Chris would be the one out the door already. Thankfully it's Kelysey. Her constant Japanese and her voice in general was too much for another episode.

I am watching tonight while wearing my Hufflepuff Tshirt. Didn't even realize it until Xander had his on and confessionaled about it.

Episode2:

Zack blabs about Nicole being a chemist already, this is going to be good.

Kayla is really rocking those jean cargo shorts, I didn't even know they existed still.

Now that I think about it and see Nicole working on the chemicals, I don't think she would have been able to keep her secret and not want to be a part of that.

The pokemon master can beatbox. Is that more or less nerdy than just being a youtube pokemon master?

Purple teams performance was a little bit over the top, imo. I wasn't impressed with their explosion either.

Episode 3"

I had never heard the term "Larping" before. Zack is now freaking out saying he will systematically destory them, Oh lord.

The pizza party was so quiet for Midas Touch Attack, hilarious.

Titans of Rigel continues to win, and Zack hasn't freaked out yet. Kind of disappointing. That's a pretty cool reward, kind of like Medeival Times.

Zack going back on his word of voting himself in, the rest of the team is going to vote him anyway.

I've never seen this game before, but it looks pretty interesting. She can not roll a high number, oh she's toast.

Zack is an amazing character, Zack and Frank need to be on every reality show moving forward.

Episode 4

Nerd Never have I ever? I kind of wish they would have shown more footage of that.

Evening out the teams because Midas Touch Attack has been terrible in the Nerd Wars. Katie switches, that's a strong shift in power.

Robot Dodgeball, awesome! I like this twist where you need to win the judging portion in order to keep your 4 for the challenge/war.

How do you burn your face with a hot glue gun? Seriously.

Titans of Rigel are clearly the better robots....and Jack's gets demolished. That one was embarrassing.

Zack keeps Midas Touch Attack in the competition, to blowing it by getting the car stuck. lmao.

My best guess is that the higher stakes were a bit too high for them so they had trouble pulling thoseout straight. If you aren't careful with the top ones they could lead to a worse falling of corpse parts.

I really wish it was possible to simulate this online. Kerplunck could be a really cool challenge. TBH this show's given me a lot of fun challenge ideas

Nicole answered this. There were a few different colored groups of sticks. Say, green on bottom, brown in the middle, red on top or something. They had to pull all of the green ones before they could pull the next group out. She lamented that it wasn't a true game of Kerplunk because of this.

These are some good debate topics when comparing the two.

Zack and Kayla get smacked in their debates, two big ego hits right there. Midas Touch Attack's fate rests on the shoulders of Jack...this won't end well.

Jack put up a good fight with his debate, but there was no way he was going to pull out that win.

Zack avoids a nerdoff finally. Smart move on Jack's part I think.

A Kayla melt down would be dangerous for everyone involved. She could beat the shit out of anyone in Nerdvana.

I did my best to read through this thread after I watched every episiode, so please excuse me if I'm posting info that's already known.

I've been using Reddit a lot more this past year, and I love to read up on shows that I normally don't discuss much with people. Anyway, I wandered over to the King of the Nerds subreddit for fun to read through some of their episode discussions. It's always nice to see what a large group of people think, although I'll never choose to discuss my viewings over there instead of here with you all <3.

Anyway, a number of the contestants have their accounts verified and give some good insight into different aspects from the show. Both episode by episode and in a more broad sense.
