((This one is kind of short because there is like 3 chances for pokemon coming up and only a few battles between them))

Phase 3



"I'm Henry. The ballin ass bird." Henry said lighting a twig with Curtis' flamethrower and sticking it in his mouth.

"Welcome to the team Henry." Mallory said.

"The team? This isn't some sort of cult is it?" Henry asked.

"What? No, not a cult." Mallory said.

"Though we do burn people at the stake." Curtis interjected.

"I respect your honesty." Henry said with a puff.



"Impish huh?" Mallory commented.

"I've been known to be." Henry shrugged.

"Well we'd better get going." Mallory said.

"Where are we going exactly?" Henry asked.

"Well... we have this thing we have to do. An objective to complete I guess. And we need to get stronger." Mallory explained... somewhat.

"Well that sounds completely dodgy. Who are you doing this for?" Henry asked.

"The professor. He said it would be in our best interest." Mallory said, unsurely.

"That sounds like... a conspiracy." Henry said simply.



"So you're going to work with us?" Mallory asked.

"Yeah, but we got to keep an eye on this Professor guy. Being stronger is one way to do that. We do what he wants for a while then flip the fucking script on him!" Henry nodded.

"Uh.. yeah we might do that." Mallory said.

"Let's get on with it guys!" Curtis said as he stabbed a random pokemon in the gut.

"Allow me?" Henry said.

"He's all yours." Curtis said as Henry tackled the random rattata.



"Woo!" Henry said as he looked through the dead Rattata's pockets.

"Oh shit look at this!" Henry said holding up a bag of sand.



"Sand attack what good is that?" Mallory asked.

Henry smirked.



"Agghhh." Mallory said rubbing her eyes.

"Hmm." Henry hmm'd to himself with a smirk.

"Enough bullshit I've got pokemon to kill!" Curtis said.



"Wait for me bro." Henry said.



"You haven't caught up yet man." Curtis bragged.

"Ok you two." Mallory said as she pushed them into the next route.



"Wait, Route 22? We just left Route 1." Mallory said with confusion.

"Check the map I guess." Curtis suggested.



"Hmm looks like this way leads to a dead end." Henry said.



"Not a dead end. The road to victory!" Mallory said.

"Well fuck that's where we need to go." Curtis said.

"Hell yeah." Henry said.

Mallory walked into the nearby grass when a pokemon jumped out.



"Ah a mankey!" Mallory said. "Looks like we found our next recruit."

"The more the merrier I guess." Henry said tackling the mankey.

Mankey attempted to fight back but had sand thrown in it's eyes.

"Quick Mal throw one of dem balls." Henry said.

"Right!" Mallory said tossing a pokeball.



Everyone held their breath.



"WOO!"

Mallory's pokedex buzzed again with more info.



Mallory released the pokemon and everyone gathered around.

"So what's your name brah?" Henry asked.
