I agree with both of those to a point. TWD is terrible for that. Luxuries are not treated as... luxuries, really. It's not just tanks, ammo and weapons. The last episode had people eating off PAPER PLATES, over a year into the apocalypse. Like what? I notice a lot of little things like that all the time and they annoy me cause it feels really lazy.

I think Martinez needed to die for story purposes. Governer needed to erase him so his past wouldn't come out. Still, I do think they kill characters off way too early. There's a lot of characters that exist for... really, no reason at all. Or characters that they decide to develop and then kill for no reason. The prisoners were a great example of that. What the fuck was the point of them? Oscar had potential to be really great then he just... died. Axel was getting featured more and more and then he bit it randomly. I mean this is the type of show where people are going to die. A lot. But at the same time, there's so many people living who have had no development or limited development who have lasted seasons into this thing.

I've read the SYNOPSIS of the comix so I know what you're talking about ... it just feels like such a BOOKEND that I'd be amazed if they didn't drag it out to the end of s4. To have two episodes devoted to the Governor's JOURNEY, only to have him die one episode later? I don't SEE it. The tank is surely sum FORESHADOWING for when it gets used for real in 9 episodes time. THEN AGAIN maybe I am giving the show too much credit (:

Last minute predictions?

I'm really not sure if The Governor will live or die. It seems weird to bring him back for two episodes just to kill him off. Why not just do all of this at the end of last season if that's the case? Seems odd

I wonder if we'll find out who RAT PERSON is. I really don't see how that's gonna play in. Not sure if we'll see Carol tonight or not either

They did a good job of setting up this 'finale'. I'm pretty excited to see what happens

I think he'll die. I couldn't see it happening at first, but I think they set it up well with these last two episodes. I do feel like we could have gotten a few more episodes out of him, especially with running this new camp and that death lake potentially filling up, but not at the expense of him surviving yet another ambush only to return later. He's gotta die at this point. And I'm gonna guess Lilly will kill him after he does something especially terrible. The set up here is kind of obvious. Then again, TWD have done a good job of avoiding the obvious.

Rick's group should suffer a lot of casualities. I think all the red shirts will die. Herschel will bite it, unfortunately. I don't see Beth surviving if Herschel dies. Sasha's probably a goner, which will put Tyreese in full on beast mode on whoever killed her. Bob's probably done.

I'm back and forth on Judith. I'm thinking... comic stuff....

There's the popular theory that Beth will die carrying Judith, falling on her and killing the baby as well. That's probably the most likely scenario.

I'm also trying to figure out how the kids will die and I could maybe see the Gov massacring Luke, Molly and Mika in the heat of the moment and Lilly being mortified over since she has a little girl of her own, then killing the Gov.

I'm gonna be really pissed if half these characters they introduced just disappear without a trace and no on screen death. I'm still mad about all those people from Woodbury like pregnant Eileen, Rowan, Noah and Dr. Stevens who just disappeared for no obvious reason.

Carol joins the Governor somehow.

Or Carol comes back to save the day.

Or Daryl finds out that Rick left Carol and ditches the prison just before they need him the most.

Or Michonne does to the Governor what she did to him in the comics.

Lots of deaths.

Even more questions raised and nothing answered.

I'll be reallyyyy shocked if Judith dies tonight. I'm not sure the network will have the balls to kill of an infant. Though AMC is pretty damn ballsy and the first scene of this show was Rick shooting a little girl through the face..so who knows! If they do though, I wonder why they wouldn't save Lori for this moment, just like in the comics. Maybe to get two surprising deaths/moments out of it, or maybe to just surprise us and change things up It'd be pretty nuts if that happened tonight

tbh I'm convinced they killed Lori out of pressure cause of how hated her character was. Probably thought killing her early in the season would get people excited about what's to come and.... well, it really did.

If Judith does die, I think it'll be more of an off-screen "implied" death. Not being riddled to a gory mess with bullets.

I could totally see this. Daryl and Rick get into a screaming match, Daryl huffs off to go find her and just as he's gone, the tank comes rolling in. Awww shit!

Because both he and Tyrese can't survive and I don't think they'd kill Tyrese off right now.
