Alia blinked in confusion. She was a magic user. A tingle ran down her spine. Not again. She knew how dangerous such beings were, but she quickly stilled herself. It was now or never. She did not know what magics this creature could possess, but if she was anything like the last one she'd prove a true foe. Magics were her weakness.

"Your tricks can't save you," Alia said to the shrieking gnomes. "I won't have you casting your spells on me."

Snakha uncovers a Skull Amulet, a Warhammer, metal armor and a Potent potion from Tharidash

I’m gonna say you can’t because there’s the rocks there and Hugh is yelling at you that he’s going to avenge Aphorio. So your attention is on him and not paying attention elsewhere!

I’ll take the Skull Amulet and the Potent Potion.

(Does the Amulet apply to just my short sword attacks or both sword and bare hands?)

Snahka bent down, carefully lifted a few small items from the fallen Theridash, and said a quick prayer for the fallen combatant. As he was finishing up, he was loudly interrupted by something screaming at him.

Looking up, Snahka sees a creature like one he'd never seen before. It didn't look alive, but it was standing there and yelling at him.
