Watched the new Murder On The Orient Express. It’s blah. Wife said the old one is much better and I haven’t seen the old one and I agree with her

Inherent Vice

Worth seeing for Joaquin Phoenix alone, he was absolutely hilarious. But...probably not worth seeing unless you're into PT Anderson. It's a weird movie and the plot is so hard to follow and overall probably not that important to the movie. I liked the vibe and the humor a lot

Hellraiser Judgment

It was bad... like so bad. I know they have been for a while but wow. I was one of the three people that kinda liked Hellraiser Hellseeker. It's like the people who made this one didn't know that one had been made. Detectives, serial killer, cenobites, telegraphed twist. Pinhead has an accountant dude that like judges people and... I don't know. I already wrote too much. It sucked.

I've been wanting to rewatch this because I was really rough on it when I watched it. Reading this review makes me think maybe I wasn't just being nitpicky for the sake of it.

THE moment in this clip is one of the hardest I've laughed watching a movie in awhile. It killed me

Watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Was ok.

Had watched an early part of it before and thought it was a rom com; didn't realize there was a murder plot.

Old movie and I haven't rewatched it yet, but was talking with my wife about a mid-90s movie called Amateur. Not the one from the 2000s- never saw that and it seems meh. And not the Argentine film.

The movie was pretty funny and we'd copied it on VHS years ago but no VCR meant all those recorded tapes went good bye long ago. Anyway, some folks may be interested in this since you have my weird sense of humor.

Essentially, the whole movie has every character being an "amateur" at what they are doing, from the nun who is trying to write porn, to the mafia accountants turned bodyguards. The mob wants a floppy disk (which jokes will be made about that even the younguns on here will totally relate to). It also features one of the slowest gun chases I've ever witnessed in cinema (and it cracks me the fuck up).

Found the entire film on youtube, so if you are interested, enjoy. I might rewatch it tonight:

Yesterday was the 24 Hour Harry Potter Marathon. My back and legs are destroyed. The theater was small and didn't have reclining seats.

Fantastic Mr. Fox

So great. Makes me even more excited for Isle of Dogs because Anderson did stop motion so well here. Stop motion is such a logical fit for him

Life Aquatic > Grand Budapest > Moonrise Kingdom > Mr. Fox

But they're all pretty amazing and on par with each other. I can barely rationalize why I'd put one above another
