Today at work, I was giving someone a sample of a roasted Brussels sprout. He took a bite of it and decided he didn't like it so he set it down on the counter. Immediately this girl SWOOPS THE FUCK IN LIKE A VULTURE and she takes the sample off the counter and she eaTS THE HALF EATEN BRUSSELS SPROUT AND TRAIPSES THE FUCK AWAY LIKE SHE DIDN'T JUST DO THE THING. While trying to get over that girl I complained about I dug out writings I did back in middle school and have spent the past week writing a novel, I'm on page 104 now and hopeful for it to be something I could possibly get published at some point. Fantasy genre if anyone is interested in reading when it's done.
I'm pretty proud of myself for sticking to it so far, this is by far the furthest I've gotten with writing a book. I think my longest project I've ever done is a 125 Page screenplay that was in the last half of the third act when I stopped. I have never finished a story before.
Technically this book won't be "finished" when I'm done with it because it's Part 1 of a potentially 8-9 book long series. Really considering chopping it down to 4 or 5 instead of 8. Especially with my goal for this one to be getting around 550 pages.
Anyways this is why I wasn't super active in Godfather Mafia. Outside of ordering some stuff on ebay and going on reddit out of habit I've been writing since like saturday/sunday I want to say. I ordered a Surface tablet with keyboard just so I can write at work on it (it has Office) instead of write by hand and have to spend my evenings copying it all to my laptop. |  A survivor becomes a leader...
