Nav’s commuter claim

right. Derp.

I’m definitely in the camp of thinking that some people have the same actions. I think it was Lamps who said with a game of 30 ish people we’re bound to have overlap.

I also agree with Buffy that a night skip seems to favor town over scum. A day skip would be scummier imo because it gives scum room to hide and up their likelihood of a successful kill.

I’m off work today AND recovering from food poisoning last night so I’m going to go read back what I missed from D2 and see what this Helios/Nav situation is all about.

None of the Nav stuff is on D2, it's mostly just Wikey/Helios the last 10-15 pages or summthin.

Nav/Helios starts early D3.

So, i guess Nav did think some people may have already thought he was commuter since he said he picked up on a couple people trying to visit him. I can also see similar roles but exact same idk.

Also Mads you have the worst luck, poor girl.

I know :( I think I actually had an allergic reaction to the oyster sauce in this broccolini dish at some bougie Chinese restaurant. I thought only raw oysters were the issue but I guess not...

Since I saw it mentioned somewhere - DS and Patrick have not claimed the same role. They have claimed sort of similar roles that affect another person's ability to vote, but which are completely different roles.

Nav and Helios have claimed the exact same role.

Ok I just read back again (in a sober mind). I'm honestly torn on Nav. I get that he wouldn't have just outed one of his actions with no pressure if he were scum, but I could also see scum Nav being smart enough to think things out in advance.

The way he called himself "town commuter" was weird to me, though instead of just saying "I have a commuter action."

Do other people have roles they can use consistently? All of mine are one-off actions, but it sounds like Helios is claiming to be able to use a commuter role more than once as well. And while I agree with him that with so many people playing, some are likely to have the same action, I'm not sure if multiple commuter actions that can be used more than once makes sense.

I definitely believe that both of them have that role. The only question for me is whether or not two Townies would have it. It doesn’t feel impossible in this set up at all but I keep wavering. That’s why I’d like a full list of Helios’ abilities to see if it feels more like a town profile or mafia

So is the reason Helios is getting more pressure than Nav just because of the simple fact that Nav came out and claimed and Helios only did so after?


It doesn't really seem like a scum move to me to try to counter-claim Nav when Helios could have just stayed quiet as scum.

But as history shows I always have terrible reads on Helios, and I think my reads in general are kind of nonexistent in this game, so what do I know?
