I can honestly see the US maybe upsetting the Germans, but they'd have to put out the best performance of their life to do so. Ghana/Portugal should be a good game but realistically Portugal is out and won't score the goals they need to make up the goal differentials. |
they need to try with all their might so they can win.
Outside of a draw in that game, Portugal winning is the next best scenario plz

I don't think the Germans will put their best effort tomorrow.

USA is underestimated, Tim Howard is one of the best goalies playing right now. Dempsey is a beast and one of our best players Bradley hasn't been playing good. AND if we still had Jozy Altidore we would have already won the group. | lol lol |

I would love to see the US come out on top of the "group of death". That saying, I love Ghana so I'm torn cause Germany would have to beat US in order for Ghana to even have a chance.

Yeah I really wanted USA and Ghana to both move on. I also really like Ghana. One reason is they had the best celebration after a goal. But my main priority now is USA winning the group | lol lol |

I'm nervous that you're absolutely right. I know it's American to have that underdog "Nobody believes in us but we're gonna win anyway" attitude, but I look at the game with a neutral eye and see that ...
1) This is a German team with a core of players that is simultaneously young and experienced with World Cup success.
2) Germany is coming off an unexpected draw against an inferior opponent and has something to prove.
3) Germany is just out and out a better team than the US.
I don't know. I guess we'll know in a few hours.

Take away a few more squares from Ghana cause Boateng and their playmaking midfielder Muntari are suspended due to controversial reasons.
Also, Suarez banned 9 international games plus 4 months of any soccer which includes Liverpool games.

Portugal coming out strong (but not too strong!) today would be a pleasant surprise and help ease some of this nervousness
