I think TODD is gonna fuck shit up real bad! I think he's up to no good and is just trying to learn the formula from Walt... ??? |
that child murdering bastard....i would lol if todd was left standing alone in the end (after like 2/3 of all the characters either died or hit the interstate) and then hank catches him, thinking todd is heisenberg

Great fucken episode. Mike seeing his daughter before running reminded me of the movie with Al Pacino in it. I think Heat where they talk about having a minute to prepare yourself to take off from everything you have if you know you're in trouble. This episode alone actually reminded me of Heat. Great stuff. |

yeah. that scene is de niro basically explaining the title of the movie (HEAT) to pacino (and the audience)
Vincent Hanna (pacino): My life's a disaster zone. I got a stepdaughter so fucked up because her real father's this large-type asshole. I got a wife, we're passing each other on the down-slope of a marriage - my third - because I spend all my time chasing guys like you around the block. That's my life.
Neil McCauley (de niro): A guy told me one time, "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner." Now, if you're on me and you gotta move when I move, how do you expect to keep a... a marriage? |
Yeah that's the scene I was looking for McCauley talking about the 30 second rule. Loved how Mike looked at her granddaughter and the police and made that split decision to beat it.

I just loved the last scene. It was so DISMAL, and the shot of the river was beautiful. It still feels so surreal, just thinking of Walt shooting him over what amounted to nothing. But for the record I didn't feel like Walt's last line was an exclamation of victory. What it felt like (and this has a lot to do with Cranston's body language during that scene, which reminded me of Walt back when he was dealing with Crazy-8) was that Walt had some remorse. Whether or not it will lead to some genuine reflection will be seen I suppose, but there's no justification for what he's done this time. Mike could have been out, totally, with no trail on Walt except for Mike's guys. There is no real way to resolve this now. He just acted out in a moment of pure ego and it is such a point of no return.

Also gonna echo the love for the scene in the park. Jonathan Banks' expression was heartbreaking.

So great. The park scene especially. Reminded me of Heat when they talk about only having a minute to get ready when you're about to get busted. Mike had to leave everything behind with such short notice but he was prepared for it. Great episode |

Yeah I guess it could've just been Walt's shitty way of showing his remorse. It didn't even make any sense since the shooting had NOTHING to do with the names, since Mike being dead obviously means Walt wouldn't be able to get them.
Now that Walt's crossed the threshold into killing without it being a means to an end, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the next step is him killing a family member. Probably Skyler or Hank. Though I'm guessing that'll be saved for the last 8 episodes. Obviously shit's gonna blow up next week but I don't think anyone else major will die until next season

I dont see it. Jesse is the voice of reason. Killing Walt would turn him into the villain. I think the cancer will catch up or maybe even Hank when he figures everything out | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Quite a few people apparently. They'd rather it was Skyler.
