I had an interview at a small travel agency Saturday, the guy cancelled and said he couldn't make it. He rescheduled for 1pm today, called me at 11am and said make it 1:30.
I leave my house at 1pm because it's a 20 minute drive. I JUST pulled into the parking lot at 1:20 and he says he can't make it until 3pm. I tell him that I'm already there and it's not exactly close for me so I tell him to call me when he gets there and that's when I'll leave. He says OK.
It's now 3. He says he'll be there at 4pm and be there until 6. I feel like just being like, thanks but no thanks. It's not like it's some big travel agency, or if I'm even guaranteed the job. Plus, I'm up for an employment program from the government where they place you in a job for 6 months and that seems like it'll be more valuable experience wise. So I think I'm just gonna pass on this. Too much hassle just for a damn interview.
I've been trying to get my dad a job since March and it's been a fucking nightmare. Got him something at Walmart and he quit after a day cause BAAAAW COMPUTERS. We just walked out of K-Mart and he nearly tossed the thing he was doing his application on against the wall. Nobody else wants a 60 year old man with no education that hates technology. This is troubling.
I interviewed a hot women's college basketball player today but my boss doesn't want me to hire her because she only wants the job through the summer and we need someone permanent.
